FORMER Southend United midfielder Jack Bridge has joined Concord Rangers.

The 25-year-old came through the youth ranks at Roots Hall and made 11 first team appearances before leaving in 2018.

Bridge went on to play for both Carlisle United and Northampton Town but he is now keen to get back playing with Concord in National League South.

“I’m really looking forward to get back playing football,” said Bridge.

“I’ve met the staff and players and everyone been really nice so looking forward to getting going now.

“It seems a really positive place to be at the moment.”

Bridge was also back training with Blues during pre-season but did not re-join.

He had also attracted interest from Stevenage and Forest Green Rovers .
