SOUTHEND United duo Terrell Egbri and Kyle Taylor both went off with injury concerns during Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Port Vale.

Winger Egbri suffered an ankle problem while on loan midfielder Taylor had a tight hamstring.

But Blues boss Mark Molesley is hopeful neither setback will prove to be too serious.

"Terrell had an ankle and calf issue and a little bit of cramp as well," said Molesley.

"There’s pain in his ankle so he’s in with the physio and we will have to assess that.

"Hopefully it’s nothing too bad because we can ill afford another injury.

"Kyle had a slightly tight hamstring so we couldn’t leave him out there much longer."

Blues are back in action at Bradford City on Tuesday night.
