BILLERICAY Town and Concord Rangers are in action tonight, reports Leon Imber.

Town visit Hemel Hempstead while the latter travel to Dulwich Hamlet.

Jamie O’Hara’s men are still searching for their first league win of the season and will be desperate to achieve that, but they will need to improve massively in the final third as they have only scored two goals in their four games so far this season.

Danny Scopes’ Concord have had a comfortable start to the season bar their 6-0 drubbing last time out against Maidstone United.

It should very much be the case that his side, who have recently been bolstered by three signings including ex-Southend United player Jack Bridge, come out to prove a point.

In the Isthmian Premier Division, Bowers and Pitsea host Cray Wanderers.

Before the weekend, Bowers had not been in action for three weeks and so you could perhaps excuse their 3-1 loss with rustiness.

However, there is no time to be rusty in the league and they will be gunning to get some points back on the board.

Lastly, East Thurrock United visit Margate in what could be the Isthmian Premier clubs’ last matches for some time.

Before their victory at the weekend, Margate suffered five consecutive losses.

The Rocks will therefore be aware of their opponent’s weaknesses and it could be a good opportunity for the struggling visitors to rack up three points.
