SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley will closely assess Elvis Bwomono before deciding whether or not to hand the right back an immediate recall against Cambridge United.
Bwomono will return to training with Blues tomorrow having missed the last two games while on international duty with Uganda.
And Molesley will be paying close attention to the 21-year-old.
"Elvis has landed!," said Molesley.
"We look forward to seeing him tomorrow in our preparation for the game.
"He’s travelled to the other side of the world and has been involved in two tough games.
"It’s a great honour for him but we will have to assess him tomorrow."
Bwomono started Uganda's 1-0 against South Sudan before he played the second against the same opposition just a few days later as Uganda lost 1-0.
The Shrimpers beat Walsall 1-0 without Bwomono on Saturday with Shaun Hobson lining up at right-back.
