SOUTHEND United defender Harry Lennon has been forced back onto the sidelines with a knee problem.
The centre-back had been playing through the pain with a calf injury in recent weeks.
But Lennon will now be heading back onto the treatment table.
Blues chairman Ron Martin said: "It's a shame about Harry Lennon being out for a while so our focus is on that slot too.
"In fact we still have a great deal of work to do ahead of the January window”
Lennon joined Blues from Charlton Athletic in the summer of 2018 but injuries have restricted him to 39 appearances.
