SOUTHEND United will again be without a trio of players for this weekend's clash at Bolton Wanderers due to coronavirus restrictions.
Ashley Nathaniel-George, Emile Acquah and Kazaiah Sterling all missed Tuesday night's 1-0 defeat against Forest Green Rovers at Roots Hall.
And Blues boss Mark Molesley can still not call upon them on Saturday.
"It’s two weeks from the testing period (until they can return), " said Molesley,
"They will probably be fine from it by Saturday as that will be a two full weeks since Walsall and that’s the difficult one.
"They would probably be fit and clear of Covid but unfortunately the timing of the testing means they will just fall short for that one.
"It’s agonising for us because another three players could have been available but they will join us next week and we will start to look stronger."
