SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley insists he feels sick looking at the League Two table.
The Shrimpers remain bottom of the standings, six from safety, following Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Bolton Wanderers.
And Molesley is finding the situation tough to take.
"I feel sick and it’s a horrible feeling," said the 39-year-old.
"But we have to keep working hard and keep believing.
"You saw John White has had two games on the spin now and Alan McCormack started too.
"It’s going to take them time to find their match legs but you can see the difference they can make.
"We have other players coming back and it’s going to be a big couple of weeks for us, that’s for sure."
But Molesley insists Blues will continue to battle in a bid to work their way out of trouble.
"You can see we’re up for the battle," said Molesley.
"There’s no questioning the boys’ work-rate and endeavour but maybe our execution has been sadly missing.
"We need to get some consistency in the team selections and get our best players on the pitch.
"We need to have a run at doing that and we haven’t been able to do that this season.
"But from last week things are improving.
"We had 12 players unavailable against Forest Green but a few are back now."
