A LETTER from Southend United supporter Annie Mayhew.

Enough is Enough for supporters.

I have kept quiet for too long on this subject.

As a shareholder and season ticket holder I want questions answered by Ron Martin and the board of directors and the major shareholders.

I do not want waffle, I want the truth which I feel is my right as a shareholder.

Firstly, we were told that once HMRC was paid the transfer embargo would be lifted.

This has not happened.

I presume that another substantial amount is owed by the club to HMRC else it would have been lifted.

I have recently retired from doing company accounts for 30 years and know how HMRC work.

Tax paid every quarter and PAYE paid monthly.

It appears this has not been happening and most companies would have been wound up by now.

Owing to HMRC has not just been in the last six months this has been ongoing for several seasons!

Please give us the detail Ron Martin.

Secondly, why do we keep signing players at the very end of their careers that are then injured after a couple of matches?

Thirdly, this is to the major shareholders and board.

Not one of you have spoken out about the situation at the club.

Why? It's time to talk out.

Fourthly, don't blame the managers we have had as they can only work with the players they have at their disposal.

We do have some good players but they are not all good enough for this League.

Finally, if you love the club so much please be open with the supporters or sell it and let someone else have it!
