SOUTHEND United defender Harry Lennon has undergone two operations.
The centre-back has gone under the knife to cure knee and calf injuries.
But Blues boss Mark Molesley remains hopeful the 25-year-old will be back in action before the end of the season.
"Harry Lennon has had his operations, he had a two for one deal," said Molesley.
"He’s had his calf done and also his knee which is the most serious one.
"The good news is we’ve managed to hopefully cure both of the injuries now but he’s very much on the long-term list unfortunately.
"It’s months rather than weeks but I wouldn’t rule out him playing again this season even though it’s too early to tell."
