SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley has warned his Shrimpers side to not get carried away by their 1-0 win against Scunthorpe United.
James Olayinka's late goal Blues bag their first home victory of the season.
But Molesley has told his players they must keep working hard if they are to pick up more points.
"It's just one win and we can’t get excited or carried away," said the Blues boss.
"We have to remember what brought that win today and it was hard work and endeavour with the supporters behind us.
"It’s given us a platform and we’ve still got some big players to come back still."
However, Molesley was delighted to get back to winning ways against what he felt was a strong Scunthorpe side.
"It’s a big week for us but I have to say Scunthorpe are one of the better teams we’ve played down here," said Molesley.
"They’re on a great run of form and they were excellently organised so it was a really tough game.
"But we’ve got the three points and for our hard work and endeavour we probably deserved them."
