PREMIER League, EFL football and other elite sports with testing regimes and bubbles in place will continue in England despite the country heading into lockdown again.
England fell into line with Scotland, which earlier on Monday had agreed that football and rugby clubs can continue to train and play as normal after introducing new restrictions for the general public north of the border.
However, a March-style full lockdown due to concerns of rising Covid-19 cases means outdoor gyms, tennis courts and golf courses will close and outdoor team sports will be prohibited.
