SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley feels contract talks are ‘progressing well’ with an experienced trio of players.
Greg Halford’s initial one month deal with Blues has now expired while John White and Alan McCormack will also be out of contract by the end of the month.
But Molesley is keen for them all to stay.
“Things are progressing well with those three individuals,” said Molesley.
“They’ve enjoyed their time here and they’re very much part of our plans.
“They’re a big part of the club and definitely ones we’re trying to secure for the foreseeable future.”
