SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley insists he will not be panicked into making any more signings during January.
The Shrimpers chief has already brought 12 new players to Roots Hall so far this season.
And Molesley will not rush into bringing in any more.
“We’re not panicking and we’re not going to be bringing people in for the sake of it,” said Molesley.
“I’ve got a strong group now but as a manager you want security in depth.
“It’s tough times at the moment and it worries me with the injuries we had at the start of the season and with Covid as well we could be left horribly short sometimes.
“We want a bit more depth and added quality but it has to be right person.
“However, our main focus will always be on how to improve the ones we have here at the moment.
"We’re happy with what we’ve got too but we’re always looking to improve."
