SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley remains on the look-out for a new striker.
The bottom of the table Blues have scored just 16 goals in 25 League games so far this season.
And Molesley is keen for the Shrimpers to improve in attack.
"It’s fair to say we haven’t put the ball in the back of the net enough and we haven’t taken our chances," said Molesley.
"It’s an area we would like to reinforce but goalscorers aren’t the easiest things to find.
"Teams don’t want to lose them or let them out.
"They also hold on to players rather than let them go because of the Covid situation at the moment.
"But we will be working round the clock to add to what we’ve got."
