SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley felt Tyler Cordner’s debut was a bright spot for the Shrimpers in Tuesday night’s 3-1 defeat to Bradford City.
Centre-back Cordner went straight into the starting line-up after signing on loan from Bournemouth.
And Molesley was pleased with the defender’s display.
“He did really well,” said Molesley.
“You saw his range of passing with either foot and he was strong and aggressive too.
“It was a really good debut.”
