GOLF: Boyce Hill’s Jack Dyer has been selected in England’s A squad to play in South Africa later this month.

The 22-year-old enjoyed a fantastic 2020 which included course records at some of the amateur game’s most prestigious events.

And his fine form has now seen him earn international recognition, much to the delight of his club.

“We are hugely proud of Jack and his achievements,” said a club spokesman.

“His achievements last year included course records at the English Amateur, Brabazon Trophy along with one of the leading qualifiers at the Amateur Championship.

“In addition he won the South East Links Championship by an incredible margin of 10 shots including closing rounds of 65 and 68 at Royal St George’s.

“It’s been tremendous and hopefully now Jack will be travelling with the England A squad at the end of January to play in a series of events.

“It’s another great achievement for Jack.”
