DARREN Drysdale will not be taking charge of Southend United’s match with Bolton Wanderers at Roots Hall this weekend.
Drysdale has been charged with improper conduct by the FA after his confrontation with Ipswich Town midfielder Alan Judge during the Tractor Boys’ 0-0 draw with Northampton Town on Tuesday night.
And he has now been replaced by Declan Bourne for the Shrimpers’ match on Saturday.
Bourne has shown 56 yellow cards in the 20 matches he has officiated this season but has yet to show a red.
Bourne took charge of Blues’ 0-0 draw with Stevenage in December.
