SOUTHEND United defender Harry Lennon is making good progress from the two operations he underwent in December.

Lennon had surgery on both his calf and knee.

And Blues boss Mark Molesley is pleased to see the centre-back training outside once again.

"Harry has been back out on the grass after surgery and he’s making good progress.

"He’s still got some issues that need addressing in the gym and in his rehab to strengthen up some areas but he’s done some hard work.

"We’re going back a couple of steps to strengthen up a couple of areas and then hopefully he will be back out on the training pitch again next week.
