SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley will be paying little attention to the Shrimpers’ relegation rivals during the run in to the season.
After this evening’s match with Tranmere Rovers, Blues will have played three games more than Barrow.
But Molesley is only interested in what his own side are doing.
“We can only focus on ourselves,” said Molesley.
“I didn’t even know Barrow weren’t playing until you said.
“After the game on Saturday it’s about analysing and preparing ourselves and analysing Tranmere too.
“We’re fully focused on the job in hand and we can’t be distracted by what anyone else is doing.”
Blues are currently second from bottom in League Two, level on points with Barrow who sit just above the relegation zone.
