FORMER Southend United assistant manager Graham Coughlan will be coaching Sheffield United’s under 23 side until the end of the season.
Coughlan spent close to eight years with Blues after initially signing as a player before moving into a coaching role.
But he will now be working with the Blades’ youngsters alongside ex Barnet boss Darren Currie who applied to be Southend boss last summer.
A statement on Sheffield United’s website confirmed: “United's U23s will have two new faces in the dugout for hosting of QPR on Monday.
“Following Paul Heckingbottom's elevation to the first team, the Blades have added Darren Currie and Graham Coughlan to the U23 coaching ranks until the end of the season.”
