WESTCLIFF have confirmed Kent Bray as their new director of rugby.
Bray replaces Jacob Ford in charge at the Gables.
But he is already well known at the club.
A spokesperson for the club said: “Kent has been with us since the club’s first team entered National Two South.
“Originally joining as a skills coach, we are delighted to announce him as our new director of rugby.
“KB has playing experience with Harlequins, Oxford University, Queensland and New South Wales.
“Coaching roles at both Harlequins and Rosslyn Park add to his vast experience, experience that will be vital in his new role.
And Bray is delighted to be stepping up.
He said: “The 2021/22 season will bring about new challenges for us as a club. We are hoping to build on the foundations that has been laid before and develop a positive ethos around the place.
“I am looking forward to working with each playing group and enjoying an exciting season of rugby.”
