SOUTHEND United midfielder Alan McCormack suffered another calf injury during this afternoon’s 2-0 defeat to Carlisle United at Roots Hall.
The 37-year-old was taken off 10 minutes before half-time against the Cumbrians.
But Blues boss Mark Molesley has yet to discover the full extent of the injury.
“Alan McCormack is feeling his calf, which is always an area of concern,” said Molesley.
“He’s feeling it a little bit higher up this time so we’ll just have to see what the consequence of that is in the next couple of days.”
McCormack has been hindered by calf injuries throughout the season and has been restricted to 19 appearances this term.
