FORMER Southend United manager Chris Powell will step forward to assist Ryan Mason in charge of Tottenham Hotspur for the remainder of the season.
The Premier League have today opted to part company with Jose Mourinho and his staff.
And, following Mourinho’s departure, Powell will work alongside Mason at Spurs.
Powell made 290 appearances for Blues in the 1990s and returned to Roots Hall as manager in January 2018 being leaving in March 2019.
