ON LOAN Southend United midfielder Kyle Taylor is pushing for a recall in Tuesday night's crunch clash at Colchester United.
Taylor, who is with Blues from Bournemouth, has been omitted from the matchday squad for both of Phil Brown’s matches since he returned to Roots Hall.
But Brown confirmed he could call upon the 21-year-old against the U's.
“I’ve been impressed with Kyle Taylor,” said Brown.
“In the last couple of days he’s been banging on my door asking why he’s not playing and that’s the kind of response I want from people who aren’t in the team.
“Whether the John Whites and Jason Demetrious have told him this guy likes to have a conversation I’m not sure.
“It’s always alright saying you want to play but I need to see it out there and I’ve seen a massive response from Kyle Taylor so he might have a big part to play in the game.”
