SOUTHEND United boss Phil Brown has been impressed by Terrell Egbri's spirit since coming back to Blues.
Egbri made his first start of 2021 when the Shrimpers saw off Leyton Orient on Saturday.
And Brown has taken a liking to the winger's style of play.
"The size of the heart is what matters most," said Brown.
"Terrell Egbri has a massive heart and will go into a fight with anybody.
"He won’t lie down or suffer fools.
"He wants to terrorise full-backs and he wants you to have a hard time because of the way he is.
"His heart is the biggest and he’s priceless in the changing room too.
"He takes so much stick but he’s always smiling.
"As a full-back I would have hated to play against him because he’s in your face for 95 minutes.
"It doesn’t matter if he’s five foot four or whatever he is, he’s a massive player for us, end of story."
