PHIL Brown will be bidding to become just the seventh Southend United manager to secure 100 wins for the club when Blues visit Barrow this weekend.
Brown, who has returned to Roots Hall for a second spell, is currently on 99 victories with the Shrimpers.
And he is desperate to reach three figures as Blues bid to stay up.
“Hopefully it can be 101 wins by the end of the season,” said Brown.
“We are still fighting.”
The other six managers to have secured 100 wins as Southend manager are Steve Tilson, David Webb, Dave Smith, Arthur Rowley, Harry Warren and Ted Birnie.
Birnie, who was in charge between 1921 and 1934, tops the list with 218 victories.
