STAN Collymore has held more talks with Southend United chairman Ron Martin and a prospective new chief executive of the club.
The former Shrimpers striker is keen to help his old side following their relegation to the National League.
And the 50-year-old has now confirmed further discussions have taken place.
He posted: "Met with Ron and potential CEO today over a very constructive two hours.
"As a courtesy to you guys, the most important part of the club, and to the guys in the meeting today, I'll keep it to the facts above, and that the meeting was incredibly positive."
The Shrimpers finish their season against Newport County at Roots Hall this weekend.
