HARROGATE Town boss Simon Weaver has confirmed he is in talks with Blues goalkeeper Mark Oxley.
Echosport revealed last week how the League Two side were keen to snap up the Shrimpers shot-stopper.
And Weaver has now confirmed discussions have taken place.
He told the Harrogate Advertiser: "We have spoken to Mark Oxley because he is out of contract. He’s a goalkeeper whom I admire, but that is all I can say."
Oxley has made 169 appearances for Blues since signing in 2016.
