Prepared - Southend United look set to face both Brentford and Norwich City next season
SOUTHEND United are set to play two Premier League newcomers in their preparations for next season, Echosport understands.
The Shrimpers are due to take on both Brentford and Norwich City at Roots Hall as Phil Brown’s side prepare for the National League campaign.
However, it is not yet known how strong the squads will be that the Premier League sides are sending to take on Blues.
