SOUTHEND United will be running the rule over two more attacking talents in Tuesday night’s friendly at Great Wakering Rovers.

Blues already have Norwich City’s Matt Dennis and Queens Park Rangers’ Hamzad Kargbo with them on a temporary basis for the clash at Burroughs Park.

But they have now been joined by former Peterborough United striker Deon Moore and ex Scunthorpe United winger Yasin Ben El-Mhanni.

Shrimpers boss Phil Brown confirmed: “Deon has been at Peterborough and Bristol Rovers.

"He’s got a good pedigree so we’re having a look at him.

"Yasin has been with Scunthorpe and Newcastle so we'll be having a look at him as well in the positions we still want to strengthen."

Moore lined up for National League South side Dulwich Hamlet last season while El-Mhanni made eight appearances for Scunthorpe before leaving in the summer of 2020.
