SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown is unsure where Elvis Bwomono will be playing next season.
The right-back has not trained with the Shrimpers during pre-season.
And Brown remains uncertain on Bwomono's future.
When asked if he was resigned to losing the 22-year-old, Brown said: "I don’t know. The contract is still out there.
"I think Orient have signed a right-back and I don’t know what he’s doing.
"The last time I spoke to him was a couple of weeks ago so I don’t what he’s doing or thinking.
"I don’t think he’s getting the best advice and if I had been his agent I’d have told him to come and train with Southend and wait for something to happen with us or elsewhere.
"If he’s been doing that somewhere else then good luck to him but I think he’s missing a trick not being here but that’s my biased opinion."
Bwomono came through the youth ranks with Blues and has made 133 appearances for the first team.
