SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown is set to finalise the future of his trialists at the start of next week.
Former Blues midfielder Will Atkinson, ex Newcastle United winger Yasin Ben El-Mhanni, QPR striker Hamzad Kargbo, Norwich City attacker Matt Dennis, former Peterborough United forward Deon Moore and ex Derby County goalkeeper Emmanuel Idem have all featured for Brown in pre-season.
And the Shrimpers chief will now decide whether or not to offer any of the trialists a contract to remain at Roots Hall on a more permanent basis.
"I don’t want to waste anyone’s time," said Brown.
"They will all be in on Monday and we will be making decisions.
"If they go elsewhere they will be fit enough to do that and give a good account of themselves but I can’t take all of them obviously."
