SIX Southend United youngsters have headed out on loan to continue their development.

Demaray Anyadike, Ergis Shala and Tendi Quamina have all joined Harlow Town while Bobby Unwin, Jimmy Wallace and Reiss Chandler have all joined Bishop’s Stortford on a temporary basis.

And Blues’ academy manager Ricky Duncan is certain the loan spells will be hugely beneficial.

“This is going to be fantastic for their development,” said Duncan.

“We’ve had a good relationship with Harlow for a while now and it’s a really good, professional club for the lads to go and play.

“We’ve sent Matt Rush, Terrell Egbri and Miles Mitchell-Nelson there before and the lads always really enjoy it.

“It’s a really good set up at Bishop’s Stortford too and we’ve got a good relationship with them as well now.

“They’re very well run and it will be good for three boys to learn more about men’s football here.”
