BOWERS & Pitsea are only given 48 hours to enjoy their victory on Saturday before they have to take to the pitch again, as they travel to Carshalton Athletic in the Isthmian Premier Division tonight.

Rob Small’s side have won their last two matches in all competitions, scoring eight goals in the process and the Bowers boss will be keen for his side to create some good momentum after a slow start to the campaign.

Twenty-four hours later, East Thurrock United host Folkestone Invicta, the Rocks looking for a reaction after their 3-2 loss against Worthing on Saturday.

East Thurrock were undefeated in four matches prior to their shortfall at the weekend, but they have only triumphed once in the league so far.

Like Bowers, Hashtag United will also do battle on Monday night, as they continue to search for their first win of the season at home to Maldon & Tiptree.

The Tags are currently slumped second bottom of the Isthmian North standings.

Elsewhere, Hullbridge Sports host Felixstowe and Walton United on Tuesday evening.

Darren Manning’s men picked up their first point of the season on Saturday, battling in a 0-0 draw against Aveley.

Meanwhile, Great Wakering Rovers make the short journey to Tilbury.

Despite being a man down, Rovers held Dereham Town to a 1-1 draw last time out, as they also picked up their first point of the campaign.

However, this time around Stephen Butterworth’s side will have to deal with the absence of suspended Ashley Nzala, their goal scorer on Saturday.

Lastly, Basildon United welcome Witham Town to the Core Refurbishments Stadium.

The Bees have suffered two heavy defeats in succession, losing 6-1 to Wingate and Finchley in the FA cup last week before being comfortably conquered by AFC Sudbury on Saturday, losing 3-0.
