Bowers and Pitsea face a replay, as they drew 2-2 against Hornchurch in the FA Cup third qualifying round.

Bradley Sach opened the scoring in the eighth minute, and Rob Small’s side had the fourth qualifying round in their sights when a Hornchurch own goal doubled their lead 10 minutes before half time.

But their two goal lead was cruelly snatched late on.

James White netted an own goal in the 83rd minute and Oliver Muldoon converted in the 90th minute to take the tie to a replay.

East Thurrock United crashed out of the FA Cup this afternoon, as Boston United ran out comfortable 4-0 winners at York Road.

Danny Elliott opened the scoring in the 39th minute and he doubled his goal tally midway into the second half from the penalty spot to put Boston in the driving seat.

Further goals by Fraser Preston and Jake Wright Jnr compounded the Rocks to a heavy FA Cup drubbing.

Billericay Town were also eliminated as they were undone in a 3-2 defeat away at Havant and Waterlooville.

The Blues nearly forged a late comeback, as the hosts took a three goal lead in the second half.

A Darren Foxley brace raised the heart rates of Havant and Waterlooville, but the hosts held on to progress to the fourth qualifying round.

In the National League South, Concord Rangers won their first away game of the season, as they beat Tonbridge Angels 3-2.

The Beach Boys responded well to going 1-0 down, Joe Payne and Danny Green on hand to put Chris Search’s side 2-1 up.

Ibrahim Olutade equalised for the hosts five minutes after half time, but Ben Allen was on target for Concord in the 88th minute to take all three points.

In the Isthmian North, Canvey Island reigned 4-1 victors over Heybridge Swifts.

Matthew Price, Evangelos-Nikaloas Empochon, Jamie Salmon and Mike Finneran were all on target for Mark Bentley’s side.

Hullbridge Sports lost their first match under new boss Stephen Sullivan, as they were seen off 4-1 by Stowmarket Town.

Elsewhere, Basildon United lost 1-0 to Coggeshall Town.
