Not available - Benji Kimpioka (left) will not play for Southend United this weekend
SUNDERLAND have denied Benji Kimpioka permission to play for Southend United in tomorrow’s FA Cup tie with Chertsey Town.
Kimpioka is on loan with Blues from the Black Cats.
But the Shrimpers interim head coach Jason Demetriou will be unable to call upon the striker this weekend.
“Benji can’t play because they don’t want him cup tied,” said Demetriou.
“But all of the others we have on loan are available to play.”
Blues are again expected to be without left-back Tom Clifford (ankle), defender John White (groin) and midfielder Abu Ogogo (foot).
The Shrimpers were keen to keep the rest of the team news in house.
