SOUTHEND United’s interim head coach Jason Demetriou has made six changes for this afternoon’s FA Cup clash with Chertsey Town.
Steve Arnold, Shaun Hobson, Charlie Sayers all miss out with injuries while the on-loan Benji Kimpioka has been denied permission to play by his parent club Sunderland.
Demetriou also misses out with a slight knock which will enable him to concentrate on taking charge of the team while Hamzad Kargbo drops down onto the pitch.
Harry Seaden, Rhys Murphy, Sam Dalby, Terrell Egbri and Harry Phillips have all been recalled while Rob Howard has been handed his first start for the Shrimpers.
