Squad is lacking in age, ability and legs around the park. The recruitment over the next few months will be crucial. Sadly, a lot of work to corrected. Who plays wing backs pre-season, but doesn’t buy any wingbacks for example?! Fans need to understand the position we are in.

If Maher and the rest of the coaching were not aware of the scale of the task, they do now. A confirmation that we have a squad well below the talent and character needed. In the short-term, switching to a back four would help and have to get a keeper if Arnold out any longer. Grim.

Was pleased enough with the first half, but an insane six minutes so soon after the break was our undoing. By far gave them too much time and space to play in We got into some promising positions, but the finishing was woeful An eye opener for KM, and the task ahead.

Very poor today. Some basic errors with this group of players. 3-5-2 and no left sided players. Sayers left on the bench. Big holes behind our questionable wing-backs. Though Dalby tried hard with little or no backing. Ferguson got forward well but no confidence to shoot.

Kevin Maher has one simple objective this season: avoid relegation. Given where we’ve come from and where we are, that’s success. A very long season ahead…..

Positives: We looked a little more creative & looked like we had some attacking threat about us today for a large part of the game. Negatives: Defence still needs work & confidence to come back into the game after conceding is lacking. Rome wasn’t built in a day, keep the faith.

The squad is just nowhere near good enough, today was a collapse beyond all expectations. What should’ve been a local derby with determination and fight was sadly lacking. Again no spark or creativity, Murphy looked disinterested and Seaden nowhere near ready for first team duties.

Dalby's header goes in it would have been a different outcome but they score and all of a sudden it is damage limitation. The fans patience after four seasons has been used up but there is no need to jeer an up and coming young keeper.

If one person blames Maher, Currie or Bentley they need to give their heads a wobble. They've inherited a squad of Dads Army players and this will not be sorted in a week, it'll take a good while but it will come.

Plain and simple: The squad is simply not good enough, we need at least three quality players. Forget Stan etc etc we can’t afford him and new players. Yes he’s been great but we CAN'T afford him.

Can’t blame the new management team as we are basically weak in all areas as struggle to score, defend poorly in spells,& have a weak midfield. Maher & Co have 33 games to refresh the squad with some new players & to turn our season around. They need time & it won’t be easy.

No one and myself definately doesn't want to lose but at least Maher got to witness the real problem first hand today. I'm glad he see the real problems we have and a one off win would of gave us all deluded expectations. Hate to admit but this season is about surviving.

A big clear out is needed. The defence is Isthmian level at best. We need players that can concentrate, make the correct decisions and work as a team. Felt sorry for Seaden, in at the deep end and he’s not ready. Big changes needed now.

Seaden was shocking and we badly need Arnold to stay fit, first half we didn’t have much of the ball and spent a lot of time on the back foot but when we got forward we done it well but the shooting was awful.

Solid first half. A mad six minutes where individuals let us down. I thought Dalby was excellent today. Would really like to see Rush or Akinola alongside him as Murphy seems well off his game at the moment. Let’s get Collymore signed up and start to see Maher and the team rebuild.
