SOUTHEND Saxons got back to winning ways in London One North as they triumphed 24-17 at Amersham & Chiltern.
The victory moved Southend up to sixth in the table.
In London Two North East, bottom of the table South Woodham Ferrers lost 33-16 against Southwold and have now lost all seven of their matches this season.
In London Three Essex, Canvey Island remain bottom of the table after losing 75-19 to second placed Dagenham.
In Essex One, leaders Billericay won 43-5 against third placed Harwich & Dovercourt while Basildon lost 33-19 against Writtle Wanderers.
