FORMER Southend United striker Nile Ranger is training with Boreham Wood.
The forward returned to Roots Hall for a second spell last season but suffered a groin injury on his first game back against Salford City which ultimately required surgery.
The 30-year-old has been without a club since leaving Blues at the end of last season but he is currently training with Boreham Wood who sit second in the National League standings.
Ranger scored 10 goals in 50 games while with the Shrimpers.
