On trial - Charlie Sayers lined up for Tottenham Hotspur under 18s this morning
SOUTHEND United left-back Charlie Sayers is on trial at Tottenham Hotspur, Echosport understands.
The 17-year-old has made six appearances for Blues this season but has now attracted interest from Spurs.
Sayers played for Tottenham’s under 18 side in the Premier League Cup at Fulham this morning and is not in Blues’ squad for this afternoon’s match at Altrincham.
