Winners - Southend Saxons triumphed 8-0 at Old Haberdashers
ROCHFORD Hundred and Westcliff both suffered defeats in National Two South.
Rochford were beaten 22-17 at Hinckley while bottom of the table Westcliff lost 17-9 at home to Bury St Edmunds as their winless start to the season continued.
But there was better news for Southend Saxons in London One North as they ground out an 8-0 win at Old Haberdashers.
In London Two North East, bottom of the table South Woodham Ferrers lost 45-21 at home to Saffron Walden while in London Three Essex, Canvey Island lost 24-0 at home to Romford & Gidea Park.
In Essex One, Billericay stayed top of the table despite losing 15-12 to second placed Maldon while Basildon lost 31-0 at home to Clacton.
