BOWERS & PITSEA were made to take a share of the spoils in Isthmian Premier action last night, as Cray Wanderers’ last minute equaliser forced a 1-1 draw at the Len Salmon Stadium.

Rob Small’s side had acquired a one goal lead on the stroke of half time, as Lewis Manor converted from a Joshua Rusoke cross.

But the full three points weren’t to be theirs, Anthony Cook cruelly made sure of that in the 90th minute as he netted for the visitors.

The solitary point saw Bowers up to 17th, four points above the drop zone.

Elsewhere, in the Isthmian North, Hashtag United secured three points in dramatic style at home against AFC Sudbury, a 3-2 victory on Monday evening.

Laste Dombaxe put the away side ahead 24 minutes in, but the Tags scored two goals in quick succession before the half time interval, Carlos Flood supplying both strikes.

George Keys had Sudbury back level 19 minutes before time, however, a last-gasp goal by Jesse Waller-Lassen ensured that all three points went to Jay Devereux’s side.

The victory saw Hashtag up to 11th in the standings, as they beat their fourth-placed opponents.
