SOUTHEND United goalkeeper Steve Arnold has been ruled out Saturday’s FA Trophy clash with Dorking Wanderers.

Arnold suffered concussion during the 4-1 defeat at Notts County last time out.

And Blues boss Kevin Maher will be without the shot-stopper this weekend.

“He’s had to go through the protocols this week and he’s doing a lot better but he won’t be ready for the weekend,” said Maher.

“That gives someone else a chance and we’ve got Harry Seaden and Collin (Andeng Ndi) ready to go.

“We’re guided by the medical department on these things but hopefully after the weekend Steve will be good to come back.”

But this weekend Maher must decide between Andeng Ndi and Seaden who has now recovered from injury.

"Harry has had an ankle issue going back 10 days to two weeks now but he’s available now," added Maher.
