Missing - Blues' assistant head coach Darren Currie was not at Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Dagenham & Redbridge
SOUTHEND United assistant head coach Darren Currie was forced to miss Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Dagenham & Redbridge.
Currie was absent for the FA Trophy clash after testing positive for coronavirus.
But Blues boss Kevin Maher is hopeful Currie will be back on the bench for Blues’ crunch clash with King’s Lynn next Friday.
“Darren’s had a positive Covid test,” said Maher.
“Hopefully he will be back with us on Friday.”
