SOUTHEND United boss Kevin Maher has confirmed goalkeeper Harry Seaden is on trial with Swansea City.

Seaden has not featured for the Shrimpers since a 3-0 defeat at Dagenham in October.

But the shot-stopper is now training with the Swans.

“Harry’s gone to have a trial with Swansea,” said Maher.

“He was involved with their 23s the other day and we’ll see how that goes.”

Seaden came through the youth ranks at Roots Hall and has made six senior appearances for the Shrimpers.
