NATHAN Ferguson has left Southend United by mutual consent.
The 26-year-old midfielder made 43 appearances for the Shrimpers after signing in January 2021.
But he has now left Roots Hall.
A club spokesman confirmed: “Nathan Ferguson has today left Blues after the club and the player mutually agreed to terminate his contract.
“The club would like to thank Nathan for his services and wish him well for the future.”
Ferguson scored three goals while with Blues including a stunning long range effort at Forest Green last season.
