BILLERICAY Town have announced the signing of former Southend United player Greg Halford.
The 37-year-old made 16 appearances for the Shrimpers last season, lining up in defence, midfield and attack before moving on in the summer.
Halford joined Irish outfit Waterford following his departure from Roots Hall but is now back in Essex with Billericay who sit bottom of the National League South standings.
Halford made his Town debut in Saturday’s 2-0 win against Dulwich Hamlet at New Lodge.
