STUART Bingham is targeting another lengthy run at the World Snooker Championships which get underway this weekend.
The Basildon based Bingham, who memorably won the event at the Crucible back in 2015, reached the semi-final of the competition last year.
And the 45-year-old is keen to secure more good memories in Sheffield.
“Hopefully I can put on a good show and go deep again,” Bingham told his official website.
“I need a quarter final or a semi final to make up on the season I’ve had.
“There are no easy draws anymore and it’s going to be tough no matter what.
“But you’ve got to get your teeth into the tournament, hopefully get through that first round and hopefully have a deep run.”
Bingham will take on Lyu Haotian in the first round.
