SOUTHEND United are still waiting to discover the full extent of Harry Cardwell’s ankle injury.
The Shrimpers striker was taken off at half-time against Weymouth last time out after picking up an ankle problem.
But Blues boss Kevin Maher has yet to find out how long the forward will be sidelined for.
“We’re still waiting on the scan results for Harry,” confirmed Maher.
“Once we get them back we’ll have the full picture and we will know more.”
Cardwell has scored three goals in 14 appearances since signing for the Shrimpers from Chorley in January but is rated doubtful for Sunday’s clash with Torquay United at Roots Hall.
